In 1844 Christopher Rawson Penfold planted vines on the slopes of Magill to produce fortified wines. Well-regarded since launch, the Koonunga Hill Cabernet Sauvignon showcases the typical cellarability that all Penfolds wines are renowned for. The wine has excellent structure and length and while it is ready for drinking now, it will gain further complexity with short term cellaring.

Pepperjack is a tribute to the Barossa's rich heritage. Traditional wine making techniques combined with an eye to modern styles led to this range of wine. The aroma is full of juicy plum, dark cherry and mocha with a bright wild thyme note framing the nose, continuing with luscious cassis character on the palate. The savoury cocoa and resinous spices from the oak and whole bunch fermentation help draw the red and blue fruits across palate, melding to a complex and concentrated finish.

Aromas of violets, spice, ripe blueberries and boysenberry, with hints of mocha oak following through to a rich, round, and textural palate with flavours of ripe raspberries, satsuma plums and red currants, with subtle mouth filling cocoa powdery tannins.
