Bay and Barnes leaned on our cousins across the ditch for the grapes to make this classic Australian Chardonnay. Following harvest, fruit was gently pressed before settling. Specially selected yeasts were used to start fermentation. From there the wine was delicately matured on oak and lees stirred to impart lovely toasty flavours and a creamy texture.

Fruit sourced from Australia brings to this wine delicacy and minerality. Each parcel of Pinot Gris is harvested at optimal ripeness, the subtle residual sweetness and time on lees add weight to this wine. Pair this Pinot Gris with a Thai green chicken curry, or good old-fashioned roast pork.

This Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from vineyards throughout Marlborough's Wairau Valley. A range of carefully selected aromatic and texture enhancing yeasts were used during fermentation. Parcels of wine were tasted and blended with precision to create a delicious Sauvignon Blanc which showcases classic Marlborough character.

Chard Farm's Pinot Gris is made from fruit grown on our Tiger, and Sinclair vineyards in the Parkburn area of Cromwell. All the grapes are hand harvested and fermented in small lots in stainless steel tanks helping to retain fruit purity and finesse. The wine is full, dry, and textural, and displays excellent fruit structure, intensity, and mineral length. Leaps out of the glass with a rich floral bouquet and layers of spicy pear and quince fruit. The ample autumn fruits build into a supple and full palate before easing out to a pleasantly persistent finish.

On the nose are aromas of roasted nuts, toasted brioche, subtle creaminess and a hint of smoke. This is a flavourful, multidimensional Chardonnay with a core of ripe stone fruit and fragrant citrus. The palate is supple and soft, with gentle acidity providing freshness and balance.

A fuller bodied and and creamy textured Chardonnay balanced by gentle, fresh acidity. Ripe stonefruit, fresh citrus and subtle floral notes are overlaid with complexities of roasted nuts, fresh baked bread, and a flinty minerality. Already drinking exceptionally well, with careful cellaring we expect this wine to continue to mature gracefully for 5 years or more from vintage date. Ideally matched to seafood, poultry and lighter game dishes, particularly with an element of creaminess
