Feijoa season's here, and Canyon Brewing have done what any self-respecting brewery would do - chucked it in a beer. They've taken this gritty autumn fruit and turned it into something seriously smashable. Layered with guava, passionfruit and a touch of vanilla, and rounded out with a splash of lactose, it's tart, tropical, and tastes like Autumn in a glass.

Canyon Brewing's beloved flagship hazy IPA brewed for the rad lot at Cardrona Ski Field. A combination of Rakau, Nectaron, Wai-Iti and Idaho 7 playfully bounce on a plump malt body. Overripe nectarine and apricot, with just a sprinkle of bitterness to bring you back for more.

The horn sounds and Heat 4 is live. The fourth collaboration with Pirate Life Brewing is an NZIPA that doesn't wait for a set. Assertive bitterness rolls in first, lifting ripe grapefruit, candied lime, and lively passionfruit off a clean, subtle malt base. True to form for a Canyon x Pirate Life collab, it's bold where it needs to be and effortless where it counts. Four heats in and still charging hard.

Bird Dog has flown west and ended up in a hop lover's paradise. This variation of the old favourite was brewed for the Malt it up West Coast IPA Challenge, with intense Simcoe and Citra cryo hops to replant it in aspiration. The malt has been called back, to let these hops sing and this Bird Dog's song is strong. It'll have your tail feathers wagging.

The adventure doesn't have to end when you get home. Day Tripper is a low carb beer that's as intrepid as you are. Brewed with a combination of hop pellets and hop oil, for better mouthfeel, balance, fruitiness, and complexity. It's more than just a post-activity refresher, it's a flavour journey all of its own - from tangelo base camp, all the way to a crisp, stone fruit finish line. Enjoy the trip.

Before the sixties started swinging, mild mannered Brits liked nothing more than a Mild Ale. It was the nation's favourite beer style in a time of politeness, moderation and general niceness. Ducks in a Row is a throwback to these days. Classically malty, with soft toffee and caramel notes. Despite the modest 3.3% it also has a good body, thanks to the subtle addition of Golden Syrup. Turn any day into a rather pleasant mild day.

30 years of The Country radio show, means three decades of Jamie Mackay's dulcet tones filling our airwaves. He sure can talk. But Raymond Bowan and Richard Emerson came up with a plan. Farmers Cut extra thick cut chips, paired with Farmer Pour Extra Crispy Pale Ale. It's the Perfect farmers combo to celebrate a real farming legend. Best of all, it should keep Jamie quiet, for at a moment, at least.

A hallucinatory, mind-bending, consciousness-expanding, dream-like experience is not what you'll find in this can. It's just a beer, man. But, this cloudy IPA does have a gnarly hit of Riwaka, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops, with a tropical citrus flavour, and a totally piney finish. At least it's a trip for your taste-buds. Far out.

This beer is a tribute to the Matron Saint of Emerson's. Richard's Mum, Ingrid. Without her belief, patience, and tolerance, Emerson's Brewery wouldn't be here today. Ingrid had a soft spot for German style wheat beers, and we know she would have loved this one. Weizenbock is a dark beer, bringing wheat and malt together for a toasty, bready, rich brew. It's warming, sweet, spicy, and surprisingly strong. Just like Ingrid.

Warning, You're dangerously close to a bear. So, now is a good time to study up on the famous Three Bear Rule. If it's brown, lay down. If it's black, fight back. If it's tangelo, say hello. Lucky for you, this Juicy Bear is the latter. An IPA brewed with Citra, Motueka and Galaxy hops, then infused with copious amounts of natural tangelo extract, for a full citrus overload.
